Virgin Hair Types:
Indian Virgin hair is the most commonly used type of human hair. The hair comes from one person and is always sewn in the same direction that the hair naturally grows. It is usually very full with body and is silky soft to the touch with a slight wave pattern. It can be curled, styled or worn in its natural state. This hair is less coarse than Chinese Virgin hair. Indian hair can be purchased as virgin, colored or treated. This hair rarely mattes or tangles, nor does it shed excessively and almost never loses its natural luster. It can easily be matched to most hair textures.
Brazilian Virgin hair has grown in popularity over the past few years and is slowly becoming a strong competitor in the human hair industry. It is healthy virgin hair that has never been processed. It is also full and has plenty of bounce. The hair is cut from the cuticle in its original state from a single donor. This allows the direction of the hair to be preserved, which prevents tangling. It comes in natural colors of dark, black and sometimes light brown. But this hair can be dyed to match your hair color or any other color you desire. Brazilian hair is strong, and is naturally straight, wavy or curly. This hair blends well with people of African ancestry.
Malaysian Virgin hair is heavier, thicker and denser than Brazilian and Indian hair. It is sleek and straight, with a slight wave. It also moves freely and hold curls well. Malaysian hair is very soft and smooth, with a lot of body. It is not as shiny as Indian hair. This hair is the best choice for African Americans with relaxed hair as opposed to Yaki hair.
Chinese Virgin hair should only be used if you want straight hair that is very shiny and does not hold a curl. It is slightly coarser but it is very different from the version of Chinese hair sold in most beauty supply stores. This hair is harvested from women and during this process the cuticle layer is stripped away in order to eliminate hair tangling.
European Virgin Remy hair has a fine to medium density. It is naturally straight with minimum to no wave. It is available in variety of natural colors most of which are dark to medium blond. This hair has limited availability so it is more expensive than Chinese, Indian, Malaysian or Brazilian hair.
Peruvian Virgin hair is one of the most versatile forms of virgin hair. It is soft and silky texture that maintains its even thickness from the root to the tip. Peruvian hair comes from one single donor that is usually no older then 30.
